We produce cleaner, greener quality beef from our fields direct to your table. Never any steroids, hormones or antibiotics! We offer bulk beef (full, 1/2, 1/4 steer) or "By the Piece" (on site grocery store style choice cuts) purchasing options.
We are a family farm raising hormone and antibiotic free clean beef in Northwest Arkansas. We run black angus and hereford stock. Our beef is primarily grass fed, but we also feed a carefully formulated veterinarian recommended commodity grain ration using the least processed ingredients we can. We keep it "close to the ground". We provide free choice vitamin and mineral supplements and fresh spring water for all of our stock. Our steers finish between 550 and 1000 pounds (depending on their appetites) at the time of butcher. This combination ensures tender lean beef with amazing flavor.
You can reserve a whole, a 1/2, or a 1/4 steer through bulk purchasing. Our current price is $2.50 per pound live weight at the time of butcher. We will invoice you for your order (less your hold deposit), and payment in full must be received before you pick up your beef. (NOTE: Our fee does not include the butcher's fee.)
Don't have a cattle trailer or butcher appointment? No worries! We haul your steer to the butcher, and we already have appointments booked for each of our steers.
Once we deliver your steer, you work with the butcher to order your beef cuts to your specifications. Our Butcher will charge you separately. (Butcher fee is approximately $0.65 per pound live weight. Please discuss additional fees with the butcher when you work up your cut order, i.e. taxes, boxes, kill fee, tenderizing, etc.) When your meat is processed, you will pick up your meat from the butcher and pay his separate fee. ( Sorry! I can't ship your meat to you due to USDA restrictions and guidelines which add additional cost per pound. )
Deposit required: Feed and hay are crazy high, y'all. So we require a non refundable deposit to hold a beef order for you.
Your cost per pound depends on the weight of the steer, but you will pay approximately $6.50-$8.50 per pound for steaks, brisket, roasts, and hamburger across the board.
